Philippe Petit was a high-wire performer who walked the wire between the New York City World Trade Center towers in 1974.
1,368 feet in the sky, 130 feet of separation; Philippe performed within another dimension, an ultimate creative expression of oneness.
Mind over matter, One within himself, within his surroundings and within his universe.
I’m inspired by Philippe’s act.
My human craving and life challenge is finding oneness in a void of separation.
The towers stood side by side in separation, then, for a moment in time and space, the majestic towers experienced oneness through creative expression.
The towers are no longer.
As I write this I feel for all those who have lost loved ones through pointless aggression.
May creative expression play its part in uniting humanity.
